What is this course about?

This course focuses on the requirements of OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 to design, develop, document, implement, maintain and improve an Occupational Health and Safety management system (OHSms) that conforms to the international standard.

Key characteristics of this course are:

•  A pragmatic and simple approach to explain the standard requirements and linkages between the elements of management systems, as well as the linkages between the standard and legal requirements; and
• Practical support with resource kits that explain best practice techniques.

Course Entry Requirements

A Grade 12 certificate and preferably also: Relevant tertiary education in a field of OHS; or Basic knowledge of/and relevant experience in a field of OHS .
