What is this course about?

This course focuses on the requirements of ISO 50001 to design, develop, document, implement, maintain and improve energy management systems in conformity with the international standard. Some of the key characteristics of this course include:

• A pragmatic and simple approach to explain the requirements of the standard and the links between the elements of management systems; and
• Practical advice with value-adding resource kits that explain best practice techniques.

Course Entry Requirements

A Grade 12 certificate and preferably also: Relevant tertiary education in a field of energy management; or Basic knowledge of/and relevant experience in a field of energy management. Some exposure to or training in energy management disciplines will be beneficial.
