What is this course about?

This course introduces delegates to the terms and concepts used in air quality management.  It provides an understanding an understanding of atmospheric emissions, their sources, effects and mitigation measures, as well as the legal framework used to control air pollution in South Africa.  Furthermore, it introduces the techniques used in the development of emission inventories and in
dispersion modelling.

Course Entry Requirements

A Grade 12 certificate and preferably also: Relevant tertiary education in a field of environmental management; or Basic knowledge of/and relevant experience in a field of environmental management.
