The focus of this course is to provide delegates wanting to enter the field of environmental management in the mining sector, or those currently employed within the mining sector, with an introduction to and a better understanding of the statutes, laws and regulations regulating environmental issues within the mining context in South Africa.
If you, as a manager or operator, find it increasingly difficult to keep track of the changes to the legal environment, what the legal compliance requirements are, and how to interpret and translate them into operational requirements, this course is for you.
A Grade 12 certificate and preferably also: Relevant tertiary education in a field of environmental management; or Basic knowledge of/and relevant experience in a field of environmental management.
