The focus of this course is to provide delegates wanting to enter the biodiversity conservation field, or those currently employed or engaged within biodiversity conservation with an introduction to and a better understanding of the statutes, laws and regulations regulating biodiversity conservation in South Africa, whilst also highlighting the potential challenges faced by conservation specialists within this legal framework.
If you want to gain in-depth knowledge of the legislative provisions in South Africa as they apply to biodiversity conservation in both the public and private sector, this course is for you.
A Grade 12 certificate and preferably also one year of relevant tertiary education in a field of environmental management; or related work experience in the field of environmental management, evidence of which is to be demonstrated.
